SwitchBot Unveils onero H1 Concept Robot at CES 2026
At CES 2026, SwitchBot unveiled the onero H1, a concept household robot signaling a shift from single-purpose gadgets to adaptable, task-driven smart home automation.
At CES 2026, SwitchBot made a bold statement about the future of smart homes by introducing the onero H1, a concept household robot designed to move beyond single-purpose gadgets and toward adaptable, task-capable home automation.
Rather than launching another standalone smart device, SwitchBot is positioning the onero H1 as a transition point for the industry. One that reflects a shift from fragmented smart tools to a general-purpose home robot capable of performing real-world tasks.

The company describes the robot as an “accessible” household assistant, which emphasizes function and adaptability over spectacle. The onero H1 is built around embodied AI, combining visual perception, depth sensing, and tactile feedback.
It features 22 degrees of freedom and runs an on-device OmniSense VLA model, enabling it to handle contact-heavy household activities. For example: grasping objects, opening doors, and organizing items without requiring detailed pre-programming.
SwitchBot has been clear that the onero H1 is not yet a mass-market product. Instead, it serves as a concept meant to signal where the company could be heading.
According to coverage from Mashable, the robot reflects a growing industry interest in systems that can genuinely help around the house, not just impress on the show floor.
